PHOTOGRAPHY
During lockdown I dug out my old Nikon FA and rediscovered the thrill of shooting film. Below is a selection of both film and digital images ranging from recent performances by my friend's band and aid trips to Ukraine, to travels in Ireland and the Christmas revolution in Romania in 1989.
Illustration
I've done relatively little illustration work but a few years ago, while recovering from an injured ankle, I started my own graphic novel about an Irish emigrant arriving in 1930s New York. It's still not finished...
FINE ARTWORKS
I studied at Wimbledon School of Art and the University of Ulster (Belfast) during which time I did an Erasmus exchange to NCAD, Dublin. I also studied the Bargue Cours Dessin and sculptural anatomy at The Drawing Studio in Merrion Square, Dublin.
MURALS AND INTERIORS
During the 'Celtic Tiger' years I earned a living doing specialist murals and interior features for architects, builders and private clients.
