Julian has been working as a visual creator and Director in Ireland for over 25 years. Originally from a fine art background (London, Belfast and Dublin), he has worked successfully in the Arts, Television and Theatre, and has made independent award-winning short films. He spent 6 years under contract as Producer/Director with RTE (Ireland’s national broadcaster) and is developing a graphic novel project entitled ‘Men of Iron’.
Throughout the years he has also been involved in the production of many live events and as part of RTE's highly successful 'Poem for Ireland' campaign he not only made the key central documentary but also produced the climactic live event with President Higgins at a packed Royal Irish Academy. In addition to developing TV and film projects he is designing and producing for a major Irish global sustainability initiative.
He is married with two young sons.

Co-founder and Artistic Director of Inside Art Ltd (a company devoted to finding commercial outlets for artists and craftspeople).
Ongoing commission to produce pencil portraits of all past and chairman for VHI boardroom.
Various Artist-in-Residences in schools (one of which – the ‘Forest in a School’ project – won a European Environmental Award) and street theatre projects for Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown CoCo Arts Office.
